This Labor Day weekend, Adam Sandler visited the Garden State, enjoying a relaxing weekend at Morristown’s LOKL Cafe.
The actor entered the coffee shop, based on European style and design, located at 80 South Street, as reported by the LOKL Cafe staff. Employees posted to social media to share the news with locals.
He purchased his own coffee, and to the surprise of the staff and Morristown locals, Sandler stepped in as a makeshift barista, whipping up orders for customers to enjoy.
The recently announced sequel to Sandler’s famous movie, “Happy Gilmore,” attracted many hopeful actors to Morristown. The movie will begin filming this month across the Garden State, including Morris, Somerset, Essex, Bergen and Monmouth counties. “Happy Gilmore 2” will include a star-studded cast, including cameos from golfers and professional athletes like Travis Kelce.
New Jerseyans should expect to see more celebrities as filming takes off. In fact, Adam Sandler and his family were also seen in Millburn at Goldberg’s World Famous Deli & Bagel Chateau for lunch.
