Ken Rosato is the host of On New Jersey Mornings. He is a proud New Jersey resident who spent 4 decades as a radio and TV broadcaster, mostly in and around the New York City/Tri-State area. The Westchester County, NY native and 7-time Emmy Award winner is probably best known for his recent 20-year run as morning TV news anchor on the most-watched local news broadcast in America, Eyewitness News This Morning on WABC-TV, Channel 7. Prior to that, Ken anchored WNYW-TV/Channel 5’s Good Day Wakeup, spent five years as morning anchor at Miami’s CBS-owned station, WFOR-TV, Channel 4 and four years as news director and main anchor at what is now the CBS-owned WLNY-TV, New York.Ken also spent many years on the radio at stations including 1010WINS, the most-listened to all-news radio station in the world, and Long Island’s huge Top-40 station, WBLI-FM 106.1, where he served as news director and morning host.These days, Ken can be heard on iHeartRadio station 710 WOR in New York, where he often fills-in for the great Mark Simone. He also appears regularly as a host or commentator on the nationally-distributed Salem News Channel. And his most-recent passion project is called The Food Dude. It’s a website that features food history and news, plus access to original recipes and links to millions of recipes from around the world, and hundreds of both short-form and long-form podcasts about everything food (check out the history of the meatball!).
