A house explosion in West Milford leveled a home Friday night and sent five people to hospitals in Bergen County.
Several neighbors called 911 immediately after the explosion on Banker Road. Five victims were transported via Medivac to Cooperman Barnabus, Morristown Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, and Hackensack University Medical Center. A sixth victim refused medical attention at the scene.
Neighbors reportedly said the family had moved in weeks before the explosion and were doing work on the home. The incident is under investigation.
