With the cold weather in the air, a beloved ice skating rink is returning to Cherry Hill.
The WinterFest Ice Skating Rink at Cooper River Park will reopen next Friday–Black Friday–on November 29. Avid ice skaters can experience the outdoor rink each week until February 23. The rink will be open weekly Thursday through Sunday.
The Camden County Park will be unrecognizable as it prepares for the holiday season. The park will feature a 60-by-120 foot outdoor skating rink, holiday decorations and many stands for scrumptious treats in the warmth of the lodge.
The rink will be located across from the Crown Plaza Hotel. Children who are 3 or younger can skate on the ice for free, while a ticket for children who are between the ages of 4 and 12 will be $6.50. Adults will pay a ticket fee of $8.50, and veterans and seniors are able to skate at a lower price of $5.50.
Anyone interested in skating around this Winter Wonderland will also enjoy free parking.
