The New Jersey Devils will play the Ottawa Senators at their home arena, the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday, March 22.

The game will start at 7 p.m. and be full of anticipation for many New Jersey fans who enjoy coming and watching their hockey team play.

In their last game on Thursday night, the Devils fell to the Calgary Flames with a final score of 5-3. The Devils have now lost two games in a row. First was the Pittsburgh Penguins, and two nights later, it was to Calgary.

They can still make it into the playoffs this year, but the gap between them and the second wild card team in the Eastern Conference is just six points.

The Devils and the Senators have met twice this year and both teams have had one win against one another for the season series.

Ottawa’s current record for this season is 35-27-5. The New Jersey Devils’ current record is 37-27-6. These two teams just about have the same record for this season, but the Devils have managed to do better than the Senators have.

The Devils have had more wins in the past two seasons than the Senators. They beat them in all three games in the 2022-23 season series and once in the past season for that year, and they defeated them twice in the 2023-24 season.

With Jack Hughes out for the season, several other players on this New Jersey team have been worth watching.

The first is left-wing Jesper Bratt, who has stepped up in his last few games. He has scored ten points over the previous five games and assisted on several occasions when scoring goals.

Following that was Timo Meier, who scored three goals in the last five games.

With them both on the ice, the Devils may have a shot at beating the Senators on Saturday night. They have better power play timing than they do and have had more shots on goal.

The Devils genuinely have an action-packed game for this coming Saturday night.
