New Jersey Restaurants Among the Best in the Country

Two restaurants in the Garden State ranked in the Top 100 Restaurant lists, according to OpenTable.

OpenTable forms their list based on users’ reviews and rankings. More than 14 million users on the site provided dinner reviews, and the website accumulated this data from Oct. 1, 2023 to Sept. 30, 2024 to make their list.

Stella Restaurant in Ventor and The Saddle River Inn in Saddle River made the list, serving as two places that offer excellent dishes.

Stella Restaurant, open for more than 20 years, features many unique dishes liked by Garden State residents. OpenTable reviewers noted their favorite dishes, including mussels and cioppino with spaghetti squash. The restaurant is BYOB, open on Fridays and Saturdays for an enjoyable meal.

The Saddle River Inn, located at the site of a renovated barn, features a blend of American and French foods. Many OpenTable users responded positively to the list of entrees offered, specially mentioning the duck and Colorado lamb chops. Like Stella Restaurant, The Saddle River Inn is also BYOB and open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 5 pm to 9:30 pm and Wednesday through Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm.
