New Restaurants Coming to South Jersey

By Maddy Grieco

With the holidays just around the corner, New Jerseyans are looking for new places to eat and new dishes to try. South Jersey is welcoming five new restaurants or chains, all of which the Garden State residents can try soon.

A Pizzeria Not Too Far From Home
Santucci’s Original Square Pizza, famous in Philadelphia, is arriving in the Cherry Hill area. This Italian restaurant, known for its unique style and incredible taste, is expected to open within the next few weeks–before the start of the New Year–as reported by Patch.

Eclectic Seafood
Fishtown Seafood is making its way to downtown Haddonfield. Originally opened in Philadelphia, this seafood restaurant will offer residents a wide seafood variety. Known as a “New School Fish Shop,” Fishtown Seafood uses responsibly sourced, chemical free seafood and environmentally friendly practices.

A Burger Place … From the Past?
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is slated to open in Cinnaminson soon. This restaurant, designed like an old-styled all-American food joint, will be available to the public before the start of 2025, although opening has been delayed by a week.

Chick-Fil-A
One of America’s favorite fast food chains, Chick-Fil-A, will possibly make an appearance in Gloucester Township. Restaurant officials are working with land developers who want the restaurant to be situated near the Gloucester Premium Outlets.
