New York Rangers vs. Los Angeles Kings Preview

The New York Rangers head west for a high-stakes showdown against the number two pacific ranked Los Angeles Kings in a cross-conference clash. The Kings have been dominant at home this season, a 25-3-4 record at Crypto.com Arena and a 39-21-9 record overall. The Rangers, meanwhile, hold a tighter 34-31-6 overall record, including a 17-14-3 mark on the road.

New York is coming off a solid 5–3 win against the Vancouver Canucks which snapped a three-game losing streak. Meanwhile, Los Angeles enters the matchup riding a three-game winning streak, including a dominant 7–2 victory over the Boston Bruins. The last time these two teams faced off, LA came out on top defeating New York 5–1.

Keep an eye on both sides tonight — each team has key players to watch out for.

So far in the 2024–25 season, Rangers forward Artemi Panarin has tallied 31 goals and 44 assists through 69 games, leading the team in points. Center Jonny Brodzinski has stepped up his game, scoring two crucial goals in his last game that gave the Rangers the lead in each instance.

For Los Angeles, winger Quinton Byfield has been heating up with eight goals and two assists over his last 10 games. Meanwhile, winger Adrian Kempe leads the team in points, with 58, made up of an incredibly balanced 29 goals and 29 assists through 69 games.

Puck drop is set for March 25 at 10:30 p.m. Eastern time. The game will be available for streaming across platforms such as ESPN+ and Fubo.
