Nico Hischier is on fire!

Hischier has never been a quiet player, but he has always stood out and shown that he’s a good player. The New Jersey Devils originally drafted Hischier first overall in 2017, and he has been with them for eight seasons.

He has become one of the Devils’ top players this season alone! Over the course of 70 games this season, he leads the team with 34 goals and ranks third on the team with 63 points.

The Swiss center has played 522 games with the Devils. He has scored 170 goals and assisted on 246 goals for the team.

Hischier has thrived in every aspect that the Devils have needed him to. He was even named one of the youngest to captain this hockey team. He has developed excellent chemistry on the ice with his teammates, which is one of the biggest reasons why they chose him. He will help them score goals any way he can, sometimes even if that means that he does it by himself. In his last two games alone, he has scored four goals.

The Devils captain has certainly kept up with the team all season. He doesn’t plan on stopping his A-game now. Hischier plans on continuing to boost his team and then getting the wins that they need to make the playoffs.

With the NHL playoffs right around the corner, Hischier knows what he needs to do alongside the Devils to forge ahead into the playoffs. The Devils have had a massive comeback since many of their players have been out with injuries, including himself at one point.

With the Devils center and team alternate captain Jack Hughes out for the rest of the season, Hischier has shown he has what it takes to be a member of the New Jersey Devils hockey club.

Hischier is on a major hot streak, and at this point, there’s no place for him to go but up.
