Workers Shocked While Working on Power Lines

Two workers in New Jersey were transported to a hospital after their ladder hit power lines and subsequently shocked them.

After the shock, the two workers fell unconscious. Police at South Coolidge Avenue found the two individuals around the corner of Pacific Avenue in Margate on Wednesday, October 30 at 5:30 PM.

While the police attempted CPR, they were ultimately driven to a nearby hospital and later sent to one in Philadelphia.

The two workers were not employed by Atlantic City Electric, according to Patch. Atlantic City Electric further mentioned that they “are aware of an incident that occurred in Margate City, N.J. involving two workers on October 30. [Their] thoughts are with the individuals impacted by this event.”

The event is still under investigation. The workers’ current condition is unknown.
