Black Friday Scare at American Dream Mall
American Dream Mall was evacuated on Black Friday due to a bomb threat. The mall had opened at 7AM, anticipating large shopping crowds. Emergency alerts instructed customers and employees to use the nearest exits and to avoid elevators. There was no credible threat found by the New Jersey State Police Bomb Unit and K-9 team and the mall reopened around 9AM.
Rutgers Groping Continues
Two individuals reported being groped as they walked near Rutgers University in New Brunswick. The incidents come after a man was arrested in early November and was charged in five groping incidents over the course of two nights. It’s unclear if these two incidents are related.
