Nursing Home Stops Admissions
The Health Department halted admissions at the Limecrest Subacute and Rehabilitation Center nursing home in Andover Township. A COVID-19 outbreak infected 66 residents and staff members and killed seven residents since September. The facility must hire a consultant to oversee the nursing department and infection control responsibilities before admissions are allowed to resume.
RU Athletic Center Break In
Two break-ins were reported at the Rutgers Athletic Center last week while the campus was mostly closed for the holiday break. They happened in unlocked offices. In one of the incidents, an employee’s car keys were stolen from her desk. Her Jeep Cherokee was then also taken.
MetLife Stadium Survey
MetLife Stadium was voted the worst among a poll of 85 NFL Players. Among the complaints were the condition of the turf and fans. Arrowhead Stadium, home of the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, was voted the top stadium by the players.
