New Jersey (February 4, 2025) – On New Jersey (ONNJ), the New Jersey Globe, Rider University, and Save Jersey hosted the first debate for the Republican nomination for Governor of New Jersey. Candidates Jack Ciattarelli, Bill Spadea, Ed Durr, and Jon Bramnick participated in the event.  

Presented by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and sponsored by RWJ Barnabas Health, Prudential, and McCarter & English, the debate took place at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. It was moderated by On New Jersey’s Laura Jones, alongside a panel of experts, including David Wildstein (New Jersey Globe), Micah Rasmussen (Rider University), Joey Fox (New Jersey Globe) and Matt Rooney (Save Jersey).

Rider University students had the opportunity to ask questions, with candidates addressing key issues impacting New Jersey residents.
