New Jersey will close a detention center where 50 men say they were sexually abused as boys. A new lawsuit alleges that from the 1970s to the 2010s, employees sexually assaulted boys under their authority at the New Jersey Training School in Monroe Township.

Atlantic City High School is formally appealing a New Jersey tournament ban. After three players on the boys’ basketball team left the bench–they have been deemed ineligible for the NJSIAA tournament.
