News Update: ‘Best Picture” Awarded to Film Shot in NJ

Tens of thousands died of COVID-19 when the deadly virus swept through New Jersey. A 910-page independent report into how New Jersey responded to the pandemic has been released and concluded the state fell short in dealing with the crisis.

The New Jersey Department of Health says it is investigating a suspected cluster of mumps cases in Hunterdon County among eight family members who traveled internationally.

Rowan University officials say more campus expansion and strong enrollment levels are on the horizon. According to a recent study, Rowan is the nation’s fourth fastest-growing public doctoral institution.

The blockbuster film, “Oppenheimer” won the Oscar for best picture. The Universal Pictures film was partially filmed in Princeton, at the Institute for Advanced Study and at Princeton University.
