News Update: Cherry Hill Police stop by Lemonade Event

A 19-year-old woman was killed, after her car crashed on Route 30 in Atlantic City. Police say her car veered off the road as she was changing lanes, hitting a light pole and road signs. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Phillipsburg woman was sentenced for aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. 31-year-old Cecilia Cuevas admitted to spitting on the officer and attempting to cause injury to the officer. She also failed to appear in court on several occasions.

You can join the Secaucus Police Department on June 8th for the New Jersey Law Enforcement Torch Run at Harmon Cove Towers. Participants will climb all 25 flights of stairs in the building. The event raises money for the New Jersey Special Olympics.

The Cherry Hill Police Department came out to support Joyce Kilmer Elementary School, for the 18th annual “Alex’s Lemonade Stand” event. Over that time, the school has raised close to $70,000 for kids with cancer.
