News Update: GoFundMe for Bookshop

By Kaitlyn Giordano

A funeral was held for a Plainfield firefighter who was killed while battling a blaze. The 32-year-old New Brunswick native was on the force for two years.

After launching a GoFundMe, the owner of Ida’s Bookshop in Collingswood was able to meet her goal of 23 thousand dollars within a week. She opened the store in 2021 and has recently faced a significant rent increase this year.
