News Update: Netflix Studio in NJ

Netflix has moved on to the next phase of the approval process to build a 300-acre production studio near the Jersey Shore. But some residents and municipal officials are raising concerns about noise, building heights, emergency response and residential impact.

Newark airport’s busiest runway is getting a makeover. The Port Authority commissioners authorized spending $134 million on a project that would rehabilitate the surface of the runway that handled more than 213-thousand total flights in 2023.

According to the latest data from Realtor.com, homes in New Jersey sold within a median of 39 days for the month of February. The Garden State ranked second in the nation behind Rhode Island.

The Mayor of Verona joined Council Members by kicking off the start of construction on the town’s new fully inclusive playground at the Community Center. Construction is expected to be completed before the summer.
