A South Jersey healthcare worker is accused of stealing opioids from an Ocean County medical clinic where she worked. Authorities say 37-year-old Lauren Scholz of Brick Township, has been arrested after being linked to the theft of 100 vials of fentanyl and 40 syringes of an opioid. New Jersey Turnpike commissioners will vote on an amended 2024 budget. The $2.6 billion budget includes a toll increase that already prompted a veto by Gov. Phil Murphy back in October.
