News Updates: Woman Sentenced After Stabbing Mother

Officials say a 26-year-old woman has been sentenced to ten years in state prison for stabbing her mother to death in 2020. A Union County jury deliberated for a day and a half before delivering the verdict.

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority recently took a vote and passed a $2.6 billion budget that includes a 3% toll increase on the turnpike and the parkway. The start date for the new tolls is March 1.
