Studies show that singing can help maintain strength in the muscles of speech and voice in people with Parkinson’s disease. What better way to keep those vocals warm then by singing the National Anthem at Yankees Stadium, as a group of special Parkinson’s patients recently did.

Joining us now to talk about this momentous occasion is Janice Dibling,Manager of Acute and Inpatient Rehabilitation Speech Pathology at Hackensack Meridian JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute and director of the ParkinSings Choir, and Parkinson’s patient Donna Mastropolo.
