A Mullica Hill man died following a crash in Deptford Township. The 81-year-old suffered an apparent medical issue, when his vehicle ran off the road and struck a pole. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

A candlelight vigil is being held for Danielle Lopez, the 37-year-old woman who went missing after going camping with her boyfriend in the Pine Barrens last year. The event takes place on Sunday at 3pm in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where Lopez grew up.

The Toms River Fire Department has announced the passing of exempt member Fred Eppinger. Eppinger was an active member with Company #1 from 1987-1999 and held the rank of captain.

Saint Joseph Regional High School in Montvale recognized National Honor Society Inductees of the Class of 2026. A total of 47 students were honored. Book awards were also handed out, by colleges and universities, in recognition of leadership and character.
