The wife of former Senator Bob Menendez, Nadine Menendez, was convicted of conspiring with her husband to accept bribes, including cash, gold bars, and a luxury car, from three businessmen seeking favors. Bob Menendez was convicted last year. 

Local Catholic leaders are sharing their thoughts on the legacy of Pope Francis. Trenton Diocese Bishop Bishop David O’Connell says “Pope Francis embodied the true essence of servant leadership. His papacy was characterized by a relentless pursuit of peace, dialogue and unity.

A black bear was spotted galloping through a Mercer County neighborhood, startling residents in Hamilton’s University Heights. The Mayor says the bear is non-aggressive and likely just searching for food. 

Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop will introduce the fiscal year 2026 budget at the upcoming City Council meeting. The Mayor is proposing a zero percent increase in the municipal tax rate for residents. 

Bergen County Historical Society is helping to kick off America’s 250th Birthday. They’re displaying two lanterns in the Campbell Christie House to commemorate Paul Revere’s famous ride in 1775.
