A Plainfield man was killed on Interstate 287 in Piscataway. 68-year-old David Wynn was driving south near Exit 8, when he hit the back of a pickup truck and veered off the highway, striking several trees. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An employee for Long Shot gun range in Secaucus has been accused of pointing a gun at a customer. 35-year-old Jonathan Rojas, of Jersey City, was taken into custody after the customer called police. He faces several charges.

Roy *Gillian, the founder of Gillian’s Wonderland Pier in Ocean City, recently passed away at his home. Gillian also served an Ocean City commissioner from 1963 to 1967, and as the city’s mayor from 1986-1990. He was 94 years old.

And New Jersey actor John Aprea {a-PRAY-a} has died. The Englewood native made his film debut in 1968 and was known for his roles in The Godfather: Part II, The Sopranos and Full House. He was 83 years old.
