Officials are investigating after an 18-year-old from Wayne was killed in a boating accident in Harvey Cedars. Police say the victim was struck by the propeller while trying to climb back on board.

A Mount Laurel man was sentenced to over three years in prison earlier this week. 55-year-old Michael Salerno opened phony companies while scamming clients and employees out of nearly $550,000.

SeaQuest Woodbridge will remain on probation indefinitely, after failing to take corrective measures to improve animal safety. The aquarium was initially placed on probation last year; the probation period was scheduled to end on September 27th.

Officer Morelli and Officer Nolan of the Longport Police Department gave a big thanks to Sam Katchman for his generosity and community spirit. Sam raised money through his lemonade stand to donate school supplies for the department’s back-to-school drive.
