A pilot had to be taken to the hospital and treated for injuries, after crashing a small plane in Sussex Borough. The plane struck a cluster of trees between two apartment complexes near East Main Street.

Police are investigating the death of a man, who was killed after crashing his car into the Delaware and Raritan Canal. He was driving along Grouser Road in Franklin before striking a guardrail and eventually landing in the water.

Plans to open indoor pickleball courts at the East Gate Square shopping center in Burlington County have been canceled. PickleRage, which has a handful of locations across the country, removed the upcoming location from their website.

The Somerset Regional Animal Shelter safely rescued a raccoon that was stuck inside of a dumpster, just outside TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater. It took 45 minutes for animal control officers to set it free.
