Five people were injured during an impaired-driving simulation as part of a National Night Out event in Wildwood. Police say a juvenile was driving a cart that left an enclosed course in Fox Park and hit several bystanders.

A man from Bedford, New York was arrested, after getting caught with a handgun at Newark Airport. TSA discovered the weapon at a security checkpoint in Terminal B. The man was also carrying a magazine with five bullets.

The Archdiocese of Newark has announced that St. Nicholas Catholic School in Jersey City will not be reopening in September, due to unforeseen circumstances. The school will stay open until August 31st, to help students with transfers.

A Spirit Halloween will soon be opening at the former Bed, Bath & Beyond location on Highway 34 in Aberdeen. A company spokeswoman says 45 Spirit Halloween stores are planned to open in New Jersey, ahead of the holiday.
