A physical therapist, who worked in in Bergen County, had his license permanently revoked. Danny Steffens admitted to having multiple sexual encounters with a female patient in New Milford. He was also accused of making inappropriate comments to another female patient in Fort Lee.

A Lower Township man was arrested for downloading and sharing images and videos of child pornography. 24-year-old Avery Dowe was charged with possession of child sexual abuse materials and taken to the Cape May County Correctional Facility.

The Evesham Township Police Department welcomes Officer Kyle Smith, who was sworn in at a recent council meeting. Smith received a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Justice from Rowan University and began his law enforcement career in Beach Haven.

Local officials welcomed Sharr’s Thrift Land to Bloomingdale during a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony. The business is located in Ward’s Plaza on Main Street.
