A member of the Rutgers neighborhood street gang in Jersey City has been charged in connection to a shooting that injured six people last year. 33-year-old Micah Reid faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.

Police responded to Leisure Village West in Manchester, after a vehicle struck three homes. The 84-year-old driver and an 88-year-old resident were taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Bergen Performing Arts Center celebrated its 20th anniversary season in strong fashion. Their Annual Gala featured one of the most iconic events in the organization’s history – a sold-out performance by The Queen of Motown, Diana Ross.

Baseball Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson passed away, just days before his 66th birthday. Henderson, who played 25 years in the Major Leagues, attempted a comeback with the Newark Bears back in 2003 and 2004.
