Officials are investigating, after a commercial building in Tinton Falls was damaged in a fire. Crews responded to the structure on Shrewsbury Avenue and were able to put the blaze out within an hour. No serious injuries were reported.

The 19th Annual Project Homeless Connect Day will be held on January 29th from 10am to 2pm at the Essex County College Gymnasium. The event provides essential services and support for county residents in need.

President Joe Biden recently signed New Jersey Congressman Frank Pallone’s HEARTS Act into law. The new legislation will provide automated external defibrillators and CPR training to schools and childcare centers.

Congratulations to Carrie Bartlett of the Neptune Township Police Department, who was recently promoted to Sergeant. During the same ceremony, the department welcomed five police officers – Colleen Brennan, Eddie De La Fuente, Eric Farrington, Gabriela Montes and Robert Newman.
