Caldwell University has formed a new, multi-year partnership with the New York Jets. The school will collaborate with the football team to create class-based and independent study projects for students.

A man has been arrested and faces several charges after brandishing a knife outside of a home in Old Bridge. The 49-year-old was taken into custody after an hours-long standoff with police.

Audrey Meyers has announced she’s retiring as CEO of Valley Health System, a role she’s held since 2003. Meyers has worked for the organization for more than four decades. This month, she will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the New Jersey Hospital Association.

The East Orange Board of Education has announced their new superintendent of schools. Dr. Christopher C. Irving most recently served as Assistant Commissioner of Field Support and Services for the New Jersey Department of Education.
