Monmouth University was placed on lockdown after students and faculty received a threatening email. The message indicated there was someone armed on campus and that an explosive device was at the school. Nothing dangerous was found after officials conducted a search.

A drunk driver crashed and had to be rescued from his pickup truck. 60-year-old John Antuzzi flipped his truck on Christopher’s Mill Road in Medford. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failing to wear a seatbelt.

Chief Walt Miller invited Burlington County Police Dispatcher Jenica Gravano to present her with a Certificate of Merit. The recognition was for her role in the successful outcomes of three critical incidents that happened back in June.

Former president Donald Trump is expected to make an appearance in Deal, for a private fundraiser this Sunday. Trump also made an appearance at the Jersey Shore in May, for a rally in Wildwood.
