A Morris Plains man was sentenced to seven years in state prison. 28-year-old Anthony Dello-Russo of Morris Plains sold cocaine and fentanyl to a man who overdosed last year. He’ll have to serve five years before becoming eligible for parole.

Thanks to Congressman Tom Kean, Raritan Township received a grant for $459,000. The money will be used to buy and install new emergency generators at the Raritan Township Municipal Building and Police Department.

A fire tore through a strip mall in Fair Lawn, leaving several businesses damaged. It started in the back of the Green Dragon restaurant on Fair Lawn Avenue. About 50 firefighters worked to put the blaze out. No injuries were reported.

Anchors Tiki Bar in Woodbridge will be holding its official grand opening tomorrow at 5 pm. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live music from Bill and Andy and several food trucks.
