A juvenile was arrested following a crash that killed two people at the intersection of Route 37 and Route 166 in Toms River. Prior to the crash, the suspect was travelling about 118 miles per hour in a 35-mile-per-hour zone. He faces several charges. A Kenilworth police officer was injured as he was responding to a burglary. Officer Marcus Trotman was on his way to Wilshire Drive when he collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Boulevard and Coolidge Drive. He was taken to Overlook Hospital. The 58th annual Camden County Hero Scholarship Fund awards and recognition dinner was held at Lucien’s in Berlin. The event honors first responders who went above and beyond in the line of duty. Staff from Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance & Rescue Squad held a meet and greet at Hunterdon Central Regional High School.
