Police are investigating, after a woman was killed by a pickup truck on Tilton Road in Egg Harbor Township. 78-year-old Sharon Parker was crossing the street near Goldenrod Lane. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A senior from Westfield High School died in a car crash earlier this week. Police responded to Watchung Reservation on Sky Top Drive in Scotch Plains. An investigation revealed that vehicle struck a tree and caught fire.

The Turtle Back Zoo’s Holiday Light Show is returning this year. There will be nearly 50 animal and holiday figures, made up of more than one million lights. The free show starts on November 22nd and runs through December 31st.

Over 500 East Orange students took part in “GRAMMY in the Schools” – a Regional Music Career Day – to learn about careers in music. GRAMMY winner CoCo Jones made a special appearance and performed her hit song “ICU”.
