Police are investigating a shooting near the intersection of Godwin Avenue and Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson. Two men who were shot allegedly made it to the hospital by car. One was able to check himself in, while the other died from his injuries.

Two men have been charged with murder, in connection to the fatal stabbing of a New Brunswick man earlier this month. Police found the victim bleeding on the sidewalk; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

For the first time ever, residents got to learn about the history of East Brunswick Police Department. The presentation was given by Chief Frank LoSacco at the Community Arts Center. Items from the past and present were on display.

Former fire chief Charles Wright has passed away. Wright joined the Washington Township Fire Department in 1956, serving as their chief from 1980 to 1981, and was the first Fire Marshal of Warren County.
