A two-car crash in West Orange has left a 24-year-old woman dead and two people injured. It happened off Pleasant Valley Way, near the entrance to Interstate 280. The woman was a rear-seat passenger in one of the vehicles.

A nine-year-old boy suffered minor injuries, while he was in the back of a pickup truck in Dennis Township. The driver of the vehicle was backing out of a driveway on Hagen Road, when the truck hit a utility pole.

The Trenton Police Department celebrated the graduation of their Fall 2024 Citizens Academy class. The 16 graduates learned about law enforcement practices, community policing strategies and the collaboration between officers and residents.

Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo and the Hamilton Township Library recently ended their Sock-tober drive. The initiative allows residents to donate socks to people in need. This year, over 200 socks were collected from the community.
