A woman who worked at CityRx Pharmacy in Paterson has been arrested for allegedly stealing nearly $140,000 in money orders. 32-year-old Leticia Lopez-Fernandez is charged with one count of second-degree theft.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County recently hosted its first annual Future Ready Fest. The goal of the event is to prepare teens for college and their careers, with a focus in professional development, mental health, essential skills and networking.

Two new members of New Jersey’s Congressional delegation will be sworn in — in January. Herb Conaway, from South Jersey replaces Andy Kim, who was elected to the US Senate. Nellie Pou will represent the 9th district, which covers parts of Passaic and Bergen Counties.

Congresswoman LaMonica McIver is also new to congress. She won the September 2024 special election to succeed Donald Payne Jr., who died in office. She also won the general election in her district on Tuesday.
