A 56-year-old is woman is facing charges of animal cruelty, after five malnourished horses were found on her property in Winslow Township. Officials say the animals were brought to a farm, to receive proper care.

A Manahawkin man has been sentenced to life in prison, for sexually assaulting and murdering his girlfriend’s toddler. 30-year-old Michael Disporto abused the girl back in 2016. She was sent to the hospital and died two days later.

The Edison Police Department, along with Karl’s Custom Classics, recently hosted its second annual Wheels for PAWS car show. The event raised over $6,000, which went towards the Edison Municipal Animal Shelter.

Wonder recently opened its eighth New Jersey restaurant. The new food hall is located on Town Center Way in Livingston. The event was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, with the first 100 customers getting a $15 meal voucher.
