The train operator killed in a crash in Mansfield has been identified as 41-year-old Jessica Haley, a mother of three from Levittown, Pennsylvania. The train crashed after running into a tree that had fallen on the track. Her family plans to sue New Jersey Transit.

Two Hudson County men were sentenced in connection to a series of armed robberies at several gas stations back in 2022. 27-year-old Wendell Bradley was sentenced to over 13 years; 26-year-old Joseph Brown got more than seven years.

Representatives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office took part in the Lacey Township Senior Health Fair. The event gave members of the senior community access to health screening and also offered resources for substance abuse treatment.

Cherry Hill Police Chief Robert Kempf has announced that he will be retiring at the end of 2024. Kempf served in the town for 26 years and was promoted to chief three years ago.
