Police have identified a man who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Bloomfield. 41-year-old Cristobal Moronta, of Newark, crashed on Broughton Avenue and died from his injuries the next day.

A man has been charged with practicing unlicensed dentistry, after one of his female clients told law enforcement she was sexually assaulted. Jonathan Colombo, of Orange, was working out of an office in Fairfield when the abuse took place.

The 6th annual Northwest New Jersey Rivers Conference took place at the Lackland Performing Arts Center at Centenary University in Hackettstown. This year’s theme was “Connecting Community, Ecotourism & Environment”.

Officials recently attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Hamilton’s new municipal building, which will also house the Board of Education. The new facility, on Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, will provide modern amenities and improved infrastructure for municipal and educational services.
