A Pilesgrove man was arrested in connection to his role in storming the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021. The 64-year-old, who was identified by body-cam and surveillance footage, now faces several charges, including felony assault.

A fugitive linked to an attempted murder in Brick, back in 2010, has been caught in New York City. 40-year-old Marciano Sanchez was taken to Riker’s Correctional Facility, pending extradition to Ocean County.

The New Jersey Forest Fire Service deployed a two-person chainsaw team to assist with storm recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Helene. The crew is assigned to the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests in Virginia..

People lined the streets in Oradell, to see Olympic gold medalist and Team USA gymnast Hezly Rivera during her welcome-home celebration. At just 16 years old, the Bergen County native was the youngest athlete representing Team USA in any sport, this summer.
