A man has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting at the Long Branch train station back in August. 19-year-old Damian Bass was apprehended in the Poconos by U.S. Marshalls. He faces a charge of first-degree murder.

Brothers Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau were laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Pennsylvania yesterday. In a eulogy, Johnny’s wife Meredith revealed she’s nine weeks pregnant, with their third child.

Lucille’s Luncheonette on Route 539 in Warren Grove is for sale. The establishment was opened in 1975 by Lucille and Jim Bates and is currently owned by their daughters. It was featured on Anthony Bourdain’s “Parts Unknown” in 2015.

On Monday, Governor Murphy’s former chief of staff George Helmy was sworn in as a new U.S. Senator for New Jersey. Helmy is temporarily replacing former senator Bob Menendez, who resigned after being convicted of corruption charges.
