A 74-year-old man is dead after a crash in Marlboro. The victim was riding an electric bike, when he was struck by a car on School Road East. He died from his injuries at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.

The mother of a Toms River man who died in 2023 has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Hometown Market in Point Pleasant. Her 32-year-old son died shortly after consuming a supplement called Neptune’s Fix Elixir that was purchased from the store.

The principal of Atlantic City High School has been indicted after failing to report that one of her students was being abused at home last year. The student is the child of Mayor Marty Small Sr. and school superintendent La’Quetta Small.

Detective Corporal Louis Cataldo of the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office has been promoted to Sergeant. Cataldo has served in the United States Army and the New Jersey Army National Guard. He’s been with the Sheriff’s Office since 2006.

Twisties Tavern on the Bay in Strathmere has been put up for sale. Co-owner Denise Riordan says that she and her husband are retiring, after owning the bar for the past 25 years.
