A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Route 18 in New Brunswick. 36-year-old Andrew *Nowakowski lost control of his bike while Making a turn at the Route 1 ramp. His body was found on a nearby median.

Three teenagers are now suing a Long Branch elementary school teacher who molested them when they were students. 53-year-old *Gustavo Barrientos was found guilty earlier this year. The girls also are also suing the school and board of education.

Seaside Heights residents are making a push to have the borough limit vulgar text on boardwalk merchandise being displayed in plain sight. Over the years, the borough has been hesitant to pass an ordinance, fearing it would prohibit freedom of speech.

Senior Associate Dean Marie O’Toole, from the Rutgers School of Nursing-Camden, has been honored with the 2024 Lillian Wald Humanitarian Award. She works with students and colleagues to improve conditions for underserved populations worldwide.
