Republicans in Trenton Say NJ’s Attorney General is Withholding Crime Data

Republican lawmakers are demanding the resignation of Attorney General Matthew Platkin. At the center of the firestorm are accusations that Platkin has withheld critical crime data, including domestic violence statistics, despite a legal mandate to release it. This comes after a contentious Assembly Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday where lawmakers like Assemblyman Gerry Scharfenberger blasted the AG.
