Warren County Man Arrested for Deliberately Driving Into Police Station, Blasting Guns N’ Roses

By On NJ

A Warren County man has been arrested after deliberately driving his car into a home and a local police precinct, all while “Welcome To The Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses was blasting from his car, according to authorities.

Surveillance video from the Independent Township Police Department shows the vehicle slamming into a building, and a stunned officer emerging from an office.

While no audio was recording, a statement by police says that the song was “blaring” from the man’s car radio.

John Hargreaves, 34, of Belvidere, was arrested and faces serious charges including terrorism, which can carry a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Police say earlier in the day, Hargreaves had driven into the garage door of a home in Liberty Township. Prosecutors said it was intended to harass the homeowner, who is known to Hargreaves.

Investigators did not disclose a motive for the crashes.
